Menorah tour
We invite you to visit the world’s largest Jewish complex “Menorah”. A unique structure of 50 thousand square meters consists of 7 towers, which are a temple seven-branched candelabra. The ground floor is made of marble and specially made Jerusalem stone. Also you can see the largest silver menorah according to the Guinness Book of Records. On the roof of the 6th tower( height – 63 m) there is an observation deck with a stunning view of the city. During the excursion you will visit the complex, the old synagogue, Pchyolkin’s house and the observation deck. Additionally, you can visit the third largest museum in the world dedicated to the Holocaust in Ukraine. The tour duration is 2-2,5 hours.
“Gallery” – the first floor of the “Menorah” center. It is made of marble and a specially made Jerusalem stone. The Gallery presents 12 facades of old Katerynoslav, where male and female schools, synagogues and various places were located. Here, you will see souvenir shops, cafes, creative workshops, offices, two hotels and an art gallery.
Dinner on the roof of the Menorah center can be ordered for a romantic meeting or a marriage proposal. Your evening will be full of romance, vivid emotions and impressions. This service is not available during the cold season.
The “Memory of the Jewish People and the Holocaust in Ukraine” Museum – is the world’s third largest memorial complex dedicated to the Holocaust. The museum is located on three floors of the complex “Menora” and consists of four main halls. The exposition area is 3 thousand m². A distinctive feature of the museum is that apart from the traditional showcases, the expositions also imply multimedia installations, holograms, video and audio recordings. There are also temporary exposition halls, an information center, a library and classrooms.
The observation deck is located on the roof of the 6th tower on the 18th floor of the Menorah (height – 63 m), from where a panoramic view of the city opens. You can visit the observation deck separately or during an excursion. Here, you can take gorgeous photos from a bird’s eye view.
The House of David Pchyolkin is a historical building of the late 19th century, which belonged to the merchant of the first guild. The building of the Renaissance era amazes with the elegance of the decor. It consists of several banquet rooms, which can be rented for special events.
Choral synagogue “Golden Rose” was built in 1800. The old white-stone building has traditional decoration inside. During the excursion you will learn the history of creation and the spiritual heritage of “Turei Zahav”, as well as the centuries-old cultural traditions of the Jewish people.
The Silver Menorah is a seven-branched candlestick, made of silver. It is the largest silver menorah in the world, and it’s listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
The cultural and business center “Menora” is the world’s largest Jewish complex with a total area of 50 thousand m2. It was established in Dnipro in 2012. The author of the project is architect A. Sorin. The complex consists of 7 towers, representing the Temple 7-branched candlestick. The highest tower is 77m (22 floors).
